Football 2007 - the PRIDE of the CLUB

2006 was a very successful year for Kettering Largo Mitchellville Football!

We had fifteen (15) Football Teams, Five (5) of the fifteen (15) played for Championships.

- Our 110 Pound AAATeam Won the Super Bowl for the First time. Congratulations to Coach Brooks!
- Our Seventy Five AAA team wont the Prince Georges County Championship and played in the area Super Bowl, Congratulations Coach cotton!
- Our Sixty Pound AA team Won the County Championship, Congratulations Coach Chambers!
- We had Two Division Winners!

-:- Our 65 B team, Congratulations Coach Deberry!

2007 Football Season Starts May 7, 2007 with our NFL Junior Player Development Camp. The JPD Camp will run for two weeks Monday through Friday 6:00 to 8:30 PM... Ages 11 to 15

We will run a mini Camp the last week of July at Largo High School on the practice Field. The cost will be $15.00

The regular season starts Monday July 30, 2007 at Largo High School on the practice Field.

Registration starts in May, every second Wednesday and third Tuesday of each month at Kettering middle School.

Registration Fee $105.00 Register early !

RAFFLE - We ask all to participate. You are encouraged to sell a minimum of $20 worth of tickets.

Important Information
Weigh-in and Team Assignment is AUGUST 2 and 3 at Largo High School's practice field at 6 pm SHARP!

If you have never played with KLMBGC, you need to bring a COPY of your Birth Certificiate and Small Photo.

Equipment Requirements, you must purchase football cleats, a girdle with pads and we STRONGLY suggest you have practice pants and an adult T-Shirt to fit over pads. We will have Practice Shirts, Practice Pants, Tees and other materials for sale.

KLMBGC Equipment on LOAN to you includes shoulder, knee and thigh pads, game jersey, game pants and helmet.

Practice Information
Five days a week! Monday through Friday, 6-8 pm through August.
Starting September, practice is held three days per week! 6-8 pm.
PARENTS, please adjust the kids study time and your schedules accordingly.

PARENTS - we NEED you to...
Handle down markers during the games
Assist Coach with administrative work
Coordinate team refreshments
Encourage additional parent participation
